Each Yantra Print is made from an Original Yantra painting by Sarah Tomlinson. These are printed using high quality inks on beautiful watercolor paper in collaboration with Ray Henders at www.rayographix.com. They look, and feel, like the painting itself. Small Prints are 12 x 12". Large Prints are 20 x20".
As these prints are made to order please allow 2-3 weeks in the US and 2-4 weeks for international orders. Expedited processing may incur extra fees.
Bhuvaneshvari Mantra: HRIM
(pronounced H R E E M)
The Goddess Bhuvaneshvari is the fourth Mahavidya (Great Wisdom Goddess), she is known as the Queen of the Universe, “Bhuva” worlds, and ‘Ishwara’ queen. She is consort of Shiva and depicted as a beautiful three-eyed goddess, luminous, seated upon a jeweled throne. She gave birth to the five elements. She is the power behind the forces of creation, preservation and destruction. All that is manifest comes through her Grace. Bhuvaneshvari is seen as the light, as carrying the light of the Sun within her.
Bhuvaneshvari has created the entire Universe, it begins and ends with her Grace. She created the hindu trinity Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, and then gave them their female counterparts: Saraswati, Lakshmi and Gauri.
Bhuvaneshvari resides in the SPACE element. This is the space where creativity and all that is manifest comes forth. She is also known as MAYA or illusion. This playground of MAYA is the place where infinite love can be experienced. Consciousness can take form and be experienced. She creates the sacred space within each of us where supreme peace can be attained. She teaches us the nature of reality and reveals the illusions that can deceive us. Observe how the things you thought were solid can dissolve and a new world order or creative venture can arise.
You can worship Bhuvaneshvari as the great love that comes from you, from the temple of your being. She is the love that brings forth children and works of creative expression.
