F.A.Q.

Welcome!

We have created this page for you with notes about info for your upcoming retreat!

More info will be posted here as we lead up to June.

Questions will also be shared/answered on the Whats App group thread.

Zoom Gathering — session from Saturday March 8th.

MONEY

The currency in Bali is IDR - Indonesian Rupiah

This is the only currency useful in Bali. You can find the best exchange rates in Ubud if you bring $dollars or Euros/£pounds to change,

OR

you can use the ATMs in Ubud. The ATMS do have a fee, the maximum you can retrieve at one transaction is approx $170 which is 3 Million Rupiahs.

The airport charges higher fees for all currency transactions.

It is also an option to change some money before you travel.

HEALTH

According to my local friend it is not required to have vaccines, but do ask your local travel wellness experts to weigh in and do whatever you would like to, to prepare and feel comfortable.

There are apparently mosquitoes only at the sunset hour, so do bring a good repellant. There are good repellants available there too.

As with travel in all countries where you are not used to the microbes…

PLEASE DO NOT DRINK THE WATER (even to do your teeth)

OR

EAT THE SKINS OF FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

especially if raw.

Focus on purified water, cooked foods and fruits where you can eat the inside of the fruits and not the skin/peel - such as mangoes, bananas…
